Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your website. This policy sets out when Ciphris LLC gives refunds. It's part of our Terms of Service.

Build and setup fees

• If you cancel before we start work on your design, we refund the setup fee in full.
• Once design work has started, the setup fee covers work already done and [decide: is it non-refundable, or refunded pro rata?].
• If we can't deliver what we agreed, we'll refund the setup fee in full.

Monthly plans and add-ons

• You can cancel at any time from Billing in the client portal; you keep the service until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Plans with a minimum term (the Static plan: 12 months - it's what keeps the setup fee low): cancelling before it ends doesn't refund anything, and the fees for the rest of the term remain payable as set out in our Terms (section 9).
• Extra edit time is only ever billed after you approved it, so it isn't refunded once the work is done.
• We don't give partial refunds for the rest of a month you've already started, except where the law requires it [confirm].
• If your website was unavailable for a long stretch because of a fault on our side, ask us - we'll credit you fairly.

Domains

Domain registration fees are paid to the registrar and can't be refunded once the domain is registered. The domain is yours to keep or transfer (see the Terms).

How to ask

Email [support email, e.g. support@ciphris.com] with your account email and what you'd like refunded. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5-10 business days.
